Overview
Industrial electrical covers plant power distribution and protection: substation areas, MSB/MDB/DB boards, power cable routes, industrial lighting, earthing and lightning protection. BTH delivers new-build, retrofit, expansion and partial replacement work from drawings or from as-found survey when records are incomplete.
On live plants, programme is driven by shutdown windows and safety requirements. BTH prepares method statements, stages the works, coordinates interfaces with mechanical and civil packages, and controls materials, circuit identification and staged acceptance to limit production disruption. Typical tests include insulation measurement, earthing checks, protection review and load commissioning within the contracted scope.
Handover aims for a safe, maintainable system with as-built documentation — test records, updated diagrams and operating notes — suitable for internal acceptance and later audits. Electrical packages may be integrated with ELV, automation or civil/infrastructure works in the same area.
