Industrial Piping
Installation and retrofit of industrial piping: compressed air, steam, oil, process water and drainage — including supports, pressure testing and insulation to project standard.
Overview
Industrial piping serves plant utilities and process lines: compressed air, steam, oil, process water, drainage and ancillary routes. BTH delivers new installation, retrofit, line relocation, supports, pressure testing and insulation to the project standard and specification.
Work typically runs from as-found survey and isometric/P&ID review (where available), method planning, prefabrication where suitable, installation and alignment, joint inspection, leak/pressure testing, then insulation and line identification. On operating plants, tie-ins and load transfers are planned around shutdown windows and client safety requirements.
BTH focuses on maintainable routing that avoids clashes with structure, cableways and access, and coordinates with equipment packages and civil supports/trenches. Handover may include pressure-test records, as-built routing drawings and valve/fitting lists within the contracted package.
